TERMS & WARRANTY

WARRANTY & RETURNS:

All our products are covered by

  • 14 Days Worry Free Guarantee: Goods can simply be returned for a refund not including postage costs. This will cover your purchase against: Incompatibility, Wrong choice, etc. (see TERMS below for details)
  • 1 Year RTB warranty: Faulty goods can be returned for a replacement or refund, not including postage costs (see TERMS below for details)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE :

When you buy from our web-site you agree to abide to all the terms and conditions stated on this page, as well as to:

  • Pay for postage and packaging

  • Pay no later than 5 days after the purchase was made

Please note that:

  • We do not accept COD

  • We do not do "Pickups". All orders are to be shipped from our warehouse.

  • Items are shipped within 2 working days after the payment is cleared or received (usually next day).

  • We can not offer urgent shipments, and we don't guarantee delivery times as there can be circumstances outside of our control.

  • All items are brand new and come with 1 year warranty, unless otherwise stated (some items have extended manufacturers warranty, this is indicated on the item listing).

WORRY FREE GUARANTEE TERMS

Customers can return goods purchased to us for a refund not including postage costs within 14 days after the purchase. This will cover your purchase against:

  • Incompatibility

  • Wrong choice

  • Product does not perform as expected

GUARANTEE PERIOD:
The warranty starts the date when the order for the item is placed. It expires 14 days after this date.

CONSIDERATIONS:

1. The following conditions will void the guarantee:

  • Defects or damages resulting from the use of the product in other than normal and customary manner.

  • Defects or damages from abnormal use, abnormal conditions, improper storage, unauthorized repair, misuse, neglect, alteration, improper installation, and other acts which are not the fault of Express PC Parts like blown fuses, electrical malfunctions, power surges, spills of liquids.

  • Returned goods that arrive damaged in transit due to improper packing. Items must be returned using the same or similar packing materials that were used to ship them.

2. Items must be returned in their original packaging and with all their components. If the original packaging or any of the parts are missing a 10%-20% restocking fee will apply

FREIGHT:
All returns freight charges must be covered by the customer. We recommend to use Insured Registered post for returns as we will not be liable for lost parcels.

CLAIM PROCESS
To make a claim, the customer must

  1. contact us by e-mail before the period expires to obtain an RA number, and return instructions

  2. Wait for Instructions. The customer will receive a return authorization number.

  3. The items must be carefully packed including a copy of the invoice using the same or similar packaging materials that were used to ship the item.

  4. All returns freight charges must be covered by the customer. We recommend to use Insured Registered post for returns. We will not be liable for lost parcels.

  5. Once the item is received, it will be inspected and tested. This may take up to 10 business days (usually 5 busienss days)

Note: Returned Parcels that don't state the return authorization number will be refused, and returned to the sender.

WARRANTY TERMS

WARRANTY PERIOD:
The warranty starts the date when the order for the item is placed. It expires one year (365 days) after this date.

CONSIDERATIONS:

It is the customer responsibility to ensure that the items are professionally installed and meet all the safety criteria required by the Law. We are not liable for damages caused by the item(s) to other components, property or parties.

The warranty is limited to the replacement or refund of the item only if all the instructions and terms in this page are followed. We are not to be held responsible for repair or service costs that the customer incurs. All items must be returned to us for warranty claims.

FREIGHT:
All returns freight charges must be covered by the customer. We recommend to use Insured Registered post for returns. We will not be liable for lost parcels.

WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS:
The warranty ONLY COVERS Hardware defects or malfunction, except for:

  • Defects or damages resulting from the use of the product in other than normal and customary manner.

  • Defects or damages from abnormal use, abnormal conditions, improper storage, unauthorized repair, misuse, neglect, alteration, improper installation, and other acts which are not the fault of Express PC Parts like blown fuses, electrical malfunctions, power surges, spills of liquids.

  • Returned goods that arrive damaged in transit due to improper packing. Items must be returned using the same or similar packing materials that were used to ship them.

The warranty DOES NOT cover Software related problems, including:

  • Software installation and configuration, including drivers

  • Hard disks not formatted

  • Virus, Spyware, or Malware

  • Passwords, BIOS Passwords

CLAIM PROCESS
To make a claim, the customer must follow the steps below:

  1. Contact us by e-mail before the warranty expires. An Invoice number must be supplied in the e-mail

  2. Wait for Instructions.

  3. In some cases we will request some tests to be performed on the items to determine the nature of the fault.

  4. If authorized to return the item the customer will receive a return authorization number.

  5. The items must be carefully packed including a copy of the invoice using the same or similar packaging materials that were used to ship the item.

  6. All returns freight charges must be covered by the customer. We recommend to use Insured Registered post for returns. We will not be liable for lost parcels.

  7. Once the item is received, it will be inspected and tested. This may take up to 10 business days (usually 5 busienss days)

CREDIT CARD PROCESSING POLICY

  • We reserve the right to cancel any credit card order at our discretion.
  • The IP address, geographical location, date and time of the computer in which a credit card order is placed will be recorded.
  • We will only process credit cards issued by Australian institutions. All overseas credit card orders will be cancelled.
  • We may contact the purchaser to verify details about the credit card or the order
  • We may require a faxed/scanned copy of the credit card before processing an order
  • We may contact the credit card issuer bank to verify the credit card details. The bank may contact the credit card account holder to confirm the order.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD PROSECUTION

If we confirm that a credit card order was not placed or authorized by the credit card account holder the following steps will be followed

  • The order will be cancelled
  • All the collected information for the transaction will be forwarded to the Police in the state in which the transaction was generated.
  • We will also forward the details to the Bank that issued the credit card, and the account holder will be notified.
  • The order details will be recorded in a public internet database.
